Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal and State Holidays. The city's regular business meetings are held at the city building at 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.

Law Enforcement is provided by the Boone County Police thru an Interlocal Agreement with the Boone County Fiscal Court.
